There are two major steps when creating your replacement part:
Design & 3D Modeling
3D Printing & Finishing
Step 1. Design and 3D Modeling
After collecting the required information, including details, images, specifications and measurements from you, our modelers will use that information to create the part in 3D.
At this point we will send you several renderings (high-resolution images of what the part will essentially look like when printed) for you to review and make any adjustments or corrections.
If these adjustments or corrections are due to an error or oversight on our part, there will be no additional modeling charges. If, however, the errors are due to inaccuracies in the specifications you give us, or due to problems with the images, drawings, blueprints, etc., there may be additional modeling charges which will be discussed with you at that point.
Upon your final approval of the part, we send it to our production and finishing department where it is turned from a 3D model on a computer into a functional, real-world part.
Step 2. 3D Printing and Finishing
When our production department receives the 3D file containing your item, they review it with your representative to make sure they understand exactly what you need and how it needs to be made.
The part is then printed using the latest in 3D Printing technologies, and inspected to make sure it meets your specifications.
Depending on the parts design and specifications, our finishing department takes care of any finishing and assembly that you part may need.
After a final and thorough inspection of the completed part, it is shipped off to you.
